I like your idea of taking the “shy” people into account. Most of the time, what we see on the internet is from people who are loud and willing to express themselves. “shy” people’s voices are usually ignored. So, equity is truly significant in social media platforms.

Hi Shanshan,

I agree with your critical view of equity in social media platforms. Ordinary people are easy to be ignored when there are tons of authorities. But in some forums like Reddit, ordinary people are here to discuss, not to teach. And at Reddit the community is mainly composed of ordinary people, basically everyone can be heard.
